Just another weekend
Hey its Andrew. I woke up this morning and realized that I had yet to post anything here. I have never really blogged before so bear with me on this. Im going to attempt to cover some highlights of the past few days, post some pictures and links and maybe discuss some general philosophies about life.
Ok so for people who are not in ART225 here is a demo reel of some of the stuff i have created while at BCC.
Ok so now here is some of the stuff i have been working on since Friday. I was helping my friend Kevin with a photo shoot Friday night. He was shooting a self portrait so i helped with lights and some camera work. This picture was taken with my camera. Its Kevin operating BCC's medium format film camera, the one used for the shoot. Saturday i did some tests with one of my macro lenses. Here are a couple shots of the ou
tdoor stuff.

Then I did some indoor test shots

with my light

I thought i would end with some general phrase about life but thats just ridiculous. So instead here is a few links from which you can glean inspiration.

Just mailed my final to Village
Hopefully it works out.
Keepin' ma fingers crossed that it'll look as good on paper as it did on my screen.

Staples cost to reproduce
I stopped by Staples and they gave me a cost of $23.00 to reproduce a jpeg onto photo paper 18X20 (I know I mistakenly gave them the wrong size of our project), but this seemed to be quite high compared to, what I think I heard you say, Village printing...please advise.

Welcome!
Welcome to Mr. Harrington's ART 225 blog. We're just getting off the ground today, so please come back and see how the blog is progressing with student ideas, feedback, links to share and most importantly, the work being created in Mr. Harrington's ART 225: Illustration course at Broome Community College.
